As Langfang Development Zone actively guides the enterprises to carry out technical innovation, building provincial technology innovation platforms, and promoting enterprises to undertake national, provincial key research projects, QGOE’s production is significantly improved in terms of capacity, and become a domestic quarter quartz material manufacturer. In 2020, the company achieved sales income nearly 160 million Yuan.

“As a high-end quartz material manufacturer, QGOE is the only one in China and one of the world's three enterprises that can produce quartz material for optical fiber performs. It takes the lead in China with its strong scientific and technological strength." Li Qingguo, Deputy General Manager of QGOE introduced that the company's "multimode optical fiber preform quartz cassette" was rated as "national key new products" by four ministries including Ministry of Science& Technology; the industrialization of fiber purpose high-purity quartz material is rated as the national high-tech Demonstration project, which is the only one in the domestic quartz industry; large sized quartz cassettes for multimode optical fiber preforms have been identified as domestic leading technology by Hebei Province. The product fills the domestic gap in the field.

At present, the company's leading products mainly include fiber-optic prefabricated rods, quartz materials for optical fiber preforms, auxiliary quartz materials, high-power laser purpose quartz materials, semiconductors and solar quartz products, which are mainly used in optical communication, fiber, laser light source, semiconductor, solar energy, and military industries, etc.. The market share increases steadily.

In the Laboratory of QGOE R & D Center, the reporter saw a variety of precision instruments are placed orderly, and QGOE Technical Director and R & D Center Director Gu Juming was guiding staff using the instrument for ICP purity analysis.

According to his introduction, they have carried out 12 projects including 8 inches and above integrated circuit preparative quartz carrier key technology research, special fiber optic and high-power laser purpose special quartz material industrialization, PSOD deposition process research, high-frequency plasma process high-performance fiber preform technology research. At the same time, the Technical Center has established a production student relationship with Beihua Aerospace and Industry College, China Engineering Physics Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wuhan Post and Telecommunications Research Institute, etc. for industry-university research and development in fiber optic preform technologies and high-power laser composite quartz material development.

At present, QGOE has 9 invention patents, 29 utility model patents, presides over and participates in the formulation of 15 national standards, national military standard and industrial standards. The company's intellectual property rights are generated in its daily technology improvements, and the patents are currently applied in practice.

As introduced by Li Qingguo, in promoting refined management and lean production management, the company has refined and quantifies all work standards, tasks, goals, and establishes fine and efficient management systems and processes, and promotes the standardization and institutionalization of enterprise management. The company implements management models such as EHS, 6S, TPM, four-standard & three-system, pays attention to details, controls enterprise vulnerabilities, strengthens link collaboration management, refines and decomposes performance appraisal to departmental level in terms of specific functions and target tasks, greatly improving its Integrated management level and overall management benefit.
