Recently, Futong Optical Fibre & Cable (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. (“Futong Chengdu”) - a subsidiary wholly owned by the company has been successfully included in the list of provincial green plants, furthermore, the GYTA53 lay-stranding outdoor communication optic cable product manufactured by Futong Chengdu has been successfully included in the directory of national green design products (2021) according to the information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department.

The applications for “Green Plants” and “Green Design Products” filed by Futong Chengdu passed the preliminary review in the first half of 2021. Thereafter, Futong Chengdu participated in the defense organized by Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology. At this defense, Futong Chengdu reported the operational performance of the company to the expert panel with well-prepared information, and demonstrated its unremitting efforts for green production, which received general consent and recommendation by the expert panel.

Successful passing of the “Green Plants” and “Green Design Products” assessment not only affirms Futong Chengdu in the aspects of green manufacturing, clean production and energy resource conservation, etc., further promotes the good public image, advanced management philosophy and strong sense of social responsibility of the enterprise, and has a great significance for directing the enterprise to promote development of energy conservation and environmental friendliness.
