Recently, according to the information from Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province, Futong Optical Fibre & Cable (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. (“Futong Chengdu”) - a subsidiary wholly owned by the company, has been included in the list of the second lot of high-tech enterprises of Sichuan Province passing the reexamination accreditation (2021) and received the high-tech enterprise certificate after the procedure including application, local preliminary examination and expert reexamination, etc., so it has passed the reexamination accreditation for high-tech enterprises for the second time.

The criteria adopted for this reexamination accreditation for high-tech enterprises were strict and varied a lot over the previous ones. Being included in the high-tech enterprises of Futong Chengdu affirms the efforts and achievements of the company in independent research and development, and technical innovation, also signifies constant improvement of the core competitiveness of the company in optical fibre and cable production.
